Honduran Santa Marta Pacamara - Limited Edition

This coffee comes from the outskirts of the famous Honduran National forest preserve Pico Pijol, near the village of Teguciglpita at an altitude ranging from 4,100 feet to 4,850 feet grows the rare exquisite pacamara coffee from the Finca Santa Marta.  Pacamara is a mutation between the Marogogype varietal known for oversized large beans and pacas a mutation of the fruity bourbon varietal.  The coffee has a medium to full body with a variety of complex characteristics.

The coffee is organically grown under 150 different species of shade trees to further enhance the national conservation efforts of the region.  The farming practices provide a home for exotic animals and migratory birds.  Aside from protecting the environment the farm is committed to social responsibility and community support.  The farm has donated land to 6o families, provided land for a community school and help build roads.
