Biasca Iced Green Tea Jug

This distinctive iced tea jug by BODUM® is named after a small town in the south of Switzerland where it gets unusually warm during otherwise chilly summers. Biasca locals reenergize with cold brewed green tea.  To recreate this experience yourself, add the desired amount of tea leaves to the jug and fill it with cold water.  Steep over night. Add ice and sugar, as desired, the next day. 

The filter, integrated into the lid, is designed to keep leaves in the jug when you pour.  Heat-resistant, ultra-light borosilicate glass is dishwasher and freezer safe.  Removable lid seals tightly and is made of plastic with a silicone gasket and an integrated, finely meshed plastic filter. Holds 40 ounces.
